Golf at its best
The 18-hole championship course of Golfclub Wörthsee e.V. on the Schluifeld country estate, located south west of Munich in the Five Lakes region, is just 15 minutes drive from the capital via motorway 96 München – Lindau.
The grounds are defined by centuries-old oak and fir forests coupled with the birch groves typical of the Schluifelder moor. Embedded in the varied landscape of the Alpine foothills, Golfclub Wörthsee's reputation among guests as a beautiful, exquisite course precedes it. This comes as no surprise, considering the club's commitment to quality as a founding member of the "Leading Golf Courses of Germany".
The immaculately kept fairways and fast Penn-A4 greens blend in perfectly with the landscape. While the challenging fairways adhere to an open layout, the strategically placed bunkers and water traps (particularly on holes 10, 11 and 12) call for well placed drives. Golfclub Wörthsee also offers a spa course as an alternative. This course boasts six challenging par-3 holes with Penn-A4 greens kept in top condition. The centrepiece of the 18-hole par-72 championship course is the delightful club house - a converted manor with top-notch cuisine and outstanding hospitality.
